The llciyo.com Free LLC Formation Program: We’ll Cover Your Filing Fee

Jake Lawson here. After 15+ years helping entrepreneurs launch their businesses, I know the biggest barrier isn’t knowledge—it’s often that initial cash outlay when you’re bootstrapping your dream. That’s why we’re doing something different.

Here’s the Deal (No Fine Print BS)

Every month, I personally select three aspiring entrepreneurs who need a financial boost to get their LLC off the ground. For those three people, llciyo.com will:

Pay your complete state filing fee (anywhere from $50-$500+ depending on your state)
Provide 2-3 hours of direct consultation with me via video call
Walk you through the entire formation process step-by-step
Help you complete all required paperwork correctly the first time

Why am I doing this? Simple. I’ve seen too many great business ideas die because someone couldn’t scrape together a few hundred bucks for filing fees. Sometimes a small investment in the right person creates something amazing.

What’s Included (And What’s Not)

✅ What We Cover:

  • 100% of your state’s LLC filing fee (I’ll pay it directly)
  • Personal consultation calls with me (not some junior associate)
  • Complete paperwork assistance (online or mail filing)
  • Formation strategy guidance (choosing the right state, structure, etc.)
  • Post-formation roadmap (what to do immediately after approval)

❌ What You’re Still Responsible For:

  • Registered Agent service ($100-$300/year) – though I’ll show you how to serve as your own if budget’s tight
  • Annual state fees (varies by state – some are $0, others are $800+)
  • Accounting and tax services (I’ll recommend affordable options)
  • Business banking and other operational costs

My philosophy: I’ll get your LLC legally formed, but you need skin in the game for ongoing operations. That’s what separates serious entrepreneurs from dreamers.

Who I’m Looking For

After reviewing thousands of applications over the years, here’s what catches my attention:

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Clear business vision (not just “I want to make money”)
  • Specific plans for launch and growth
  • Financial constraints that make the filing fee a genuine barrier
  • Commitment to following through after formation
  • Willingness to learn the proper way to run an LLC

Red Flags That Kill Applications:

  • Vague business ideas (“I want to start something in tech”)
  • Get-rich-quick schemes or MLM ventures
  • Unwillingness to handle basic responsibilities post-formation
  • Already have money for filing fees but want freebies

Reality check: I’m not running a charity. I’m investing in entrepreneurs I believe can build something meaningful.

The Application Process: How It Actually Works

Step 1: Submit Your Information

Complete the application with detailed information about:

  • Your business concept and target market
  • Why you need the financial assistance
  • Your post-formation business plan
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience (or lack thereof)

Jake’s tip: Generic applications get deleted. Be specific, be honest, and show me you’ve thought this through.

Step 2: Review and Selection

Timeline: I review applications on the last day of each month and select three winners.

Notification: Winners get notified between the 1st-5th of the following month. If you don’t hear from me by the 5th, you weren’t selected that round (but you can reapply).

Selection criteria: I’m looking for a combination of need, potential, and commitment. The best business idea doesn’t always win—sometimes it’s the person who shows the most determination.

Step 3: The Formation Process

Once selected, we’ll schedule our consultation calls where I’ll:

  • Review your business structure options
  • Help you choose the optimal state for formation
  • Walk through paperwork line-by-line
  • Discuss post-formation requirements
  • Connect you with trusted service providers

What Past Recipients Have Built

I can’t share names (confidentiality), but here’s what some of our free LLC recipients have accomplished:

  • E-commerce store that hit $100K revenue in year one
  • Consulting firm that landed Fortune 500 clients within six months
  • Local service business that expanded to three cities
  • Tech startup that secured seed funding

The common thread: They all took action immediately after formation and treated their LLC as a real business, not just paperwork.

Why I Limit This to Three People Monthly

Honest answer: Quality over quantity. Each consultation takes 2-3 hours of my personal time, plus follow-up support. I’d rather deeply help three people than superficially help thirty.

The math: Three people × 12 months = 36 entrepreneurs per year getting genuine help. After 15+ years, that’s meaningful impact.

Scalability concerns: As llciyo.com grows, I might expand this program. But for now, I’m personally handling each case to ensure quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

“Can I apply multiple times?”

Yes, but wait at least three months between applications. Use that time to refine your business plan and show progress.

“Do you favor certain types of businesses?”

I’m industry-agnostic, but I do prefer businesses with clear revenue models over speculative ventures.

“What if I live outside the U.S.?”

No problem. International entrepreneurs can form U.S. LLCs, and I’ve helped hundreds navigate the process.

“Can you guarantee I’ll be selected?”

Absolutely not. But I can guarantee that thoughtful, detailed applications get serious consideration.

The Real Talk Section

Look, most “free” offers in the LLC space are lead magnets designed to upsell you into expensive packages. That’s not what this is.

My motivation is simple: I remember being a broke entrepreneur who needed a break. Someone helped me early in my career, and this is how I pay it forward.

The catch: There isn’t one, beyond the obvious—you need to actually follow through and build a real business.

Success rate: About 80% of our free LLC recipients are still actively operating their businesses two years later. That’s significantly higher than the general small business survival rate.
